( find mp3 of single, cd art, and usa gold ad attached to this press release) Written by Tonya, THOUGHT YOU SHOULD KNOW is a sexy sultry soulful country rock song that at once, evokes Bad Company, Waylon Jennings, Kid Rock, Melissa Etheridge, and every sex kitten any of those artists have ever dreamt of but mostly she is a wholly original voice in the tradition of...well, herself. and why am I telling you this?I just "thought you should know" love, dazey rock records what some others have said about tonya and this new release. JOHNNY WHITESIDE of LA WEEKLY says... "The former model-actress and past Baywatch-Barbwire Pamela Anderson body double has always worked a deliciously idiosyncratic, Dixie-fried brand of Outlaw country-rock...but here she creates a high-tension gem of super-charged erotic expression--something that no one else does as well as the one and only Tonya Watts" JB CLOUD of KBCY 99.7 TEXAS says... "For years there have been many singer/songwriters that had their own unique style, sound and groove. Tonya Watts has it and I like it. Bob Dylan, Robert Earl Keen, Corb Lund, Townes Van Zant and Janis Joplin aren't the only ones that did good doing their own thing. I've done really well in Texas by playing music that was different. Take your radio britches off and really listen, you'll like it."
